Abstract

The Netherlands is a frontrunner in sustainable economic policy, aiming to transition towards a green economy while maintaining economic growth and social equity. This study examines the implementation and impact of green policies on economic performance, employment, and environmental sustainability. Data were collected from government reports, economic indicators, and interviews with policymakers and industry experts. Results indicate that renewable energy investment, carbon pricing, and circular economy initiatives significantly contribute to reducing emissions and creating green jobs. However, challenges include financing, technological adaptation, and balancing short-term economic pressures with long-term sustainability goals.
